Local meeting place for professionals and fans of numeric and scientific computing in Israel. We focus on free/open source software and tools relevant for this field of interest. We plan to hold monthly meetings, as well as on-line discussions.
Sample topics of interest include (but not limited to):
  • CAS & NC systems (Octave, R, Sage, GAP etc.)
  • Numerics using dynamic languages (in particular: Python)
  • Optimized libraries for numerical computing.
  • Parallelization.
  • C/C++ bindings for dynamic languages.
